December 2005

Hi Y'all!

It's time to renew my Texas CHL again.

In order to renew my Concealed Handgun License…

I have to attend a class emphasizing that
the hind portions of my lower anatomy is St. Augustine if I ever shoot,
take a written exam to ensure I really, really understand what
makes those nether regions green if I shoot,
and prove I can hit the broad side of a barn if I ever decide I don't care what turns green..

Then the instructor sends in your test results, finger prints,
and other miscellaneous information to the Texas DPS.

The Texas DPS,
in an act of amazing state and Federal inter-agency cooperation,
then shares all of that with the FBI.

Then you wait for the Texas DPS and the FBI to verify that you've
paid any and all child support due any ex('s);
haven't ever mistreated any spouse(s) or significant other(s);
that you have paid all of your city, county, and state taxes, fees, and charges;
and haven't committed any felonies or certain heinous misdemeanors…

Proof I can hit any side of the barn:

Oooops - looks like the last 5 rounds at very rapid fire were a bit too rapid...

My written exam score was 98% (50 question test - missed one).

Now to wait for 60 to 90 days for background checks to complete.

The tool I used
and usually carry…

Wilson Combat KZ-45

The FBI and DPS have deemed me a Good Guy.
