Software by the Texas Handgunner

The Talking Clock for PC and the Body Weight Index for Palm are freeware. Both are as is with no warranties expressed or implied and all that other legal stuff to (hopefully) keep me from being sued. With that out of the way, I run them both and have had no problems with either. The Talking Clock strated on a Windows 98 system and is currently running on XP. The BWI for Palm has been running on OS 4 systems. I assume it will work on 5, but haven't tested it there. (I'm doing my current work on Pocket PC.)

thClock - the Talking Clock (PC)

The Talking Clock is a basic analog clock that will announce the time at selectable intervals. It is also resizeable. It's appearance such as hand colors, clock face color, and more are menu selectable. It will remember position and size from session to session. It is freeware.

To install the clock, download the executable by clicking here and selecting "save to disk" in the browser. The clock is not supported by an install program and is fully executable after download. You can copy it to any directory you want and execute it from there. If you right click the executable (thClock.exe) and create a shortcut, you can copy the shortcut to your desktop and double click it from there.

I make the usual disclaimers about as is, not responsible for errors, etc. I haven't had any problems with it and I don't expect that you will either, but computers and programmers being what they are, it comes with no guarantees.

thBWI - Body Weight Index (Palm)

thBWI on Palm IIIc

The Body Weight Index for Palm calculates your BWI. It uses the English measurement system (non-metric); i.e., feet, inches, and pounds. To install thBWI, down load it by clicking here. Then use Palm Quick Install to hotsync it to your Palm device.

As with the Talking Clock, I make the usual disclaimers about as is, not responsible for errors, etc. I haven't had any problems with it and I don't expect that you will either, but computers and programmers being what they are, it comes with no guarantees.
